True Perfection It's what's on the outside that counts

Picture

To pursue the impossible dream...this is the hope inscribed in up and coming fashion designer Gwen Harris (Ashley Patterson), the first student at Wright University ever granted permission to have her own solo fashion show. With her graduation and future career on the line, Gwen is not taking the show lightly to say the least. Certain of how momentous the debut could turn out, her publicist and alkie-loving best friend Natalie Cooper (Lisa Younger) convinces Gwen to team up with the film school & capture the "fabulous" 24 hours before “fame and glory” in a documentary. However, when the school sends  anti-materialism filmmakers Diane Hart & Lucas Austen (Lenne Klingaman & Jeff Whitlatch) who choose a more hands on approach to Gwen's life then she'd like, ideals clash and arguments fly. Within minutes of filming, Gwen is forced to fire her three lead models putting her show on a possible doomed road of catastrophe...for the entire world to see.

Adding to the pressure is persnickety dean of students Ken Wright, who has believed all along that Gwen will fail and will stop at nothing to prove his point. And as filming continues, Gwen & and her friends must decide just how much they are willing to pay for fame, success, and the right to be themselves. A bold new portrait of modern culture, True perfection dares to take on issues such as Body Image, Sexism, Corruption in the education system, and Women's rights, all while looking fabulous.
